ROCK ON THE RANGE 2014 DAY TWO LIVE REVIEW
ROCK ON THE RANGE: Day Two - Saturday, May 17, 2014 |

Avenged Seven Fold headlines Day two at ROTR. |
Avenged, has proven on more than one occasion that they are up to the challenge of headlining America’s largest music festival. The band has an enormous fan following and the stage presence to match. The stadium and field at Columbus Crew stadium were both full to capacity in anticipation of the A7X performance. |
Slayer was up just before A7X and received a substantial welcome from metal fans from around the world. This was their first and hopefully not their last ROTR experience. The guys are warming up to release a new album soon. |

Chevelle is still one of the hardest working bands out there today. They are supporting their seventh studio release, “La, Gargola” aka the gargoyle. |
Taylor Mommsen and The Pretty Reckless continuously draw large crowds with every show they play. Fans sang along with “Heaven Knows”. |
Nothing More, was a welcome surprise. These guys perform with every ounce of their being. The band had to deal with some technical difficulties with their equipment due to the rain, but determination and a little ditty between the drummer and guitar kept the crowd going until things were back up and running. |

Avatar: The Swedish Circus came to town to keep fans amused for their first stint at ROTR. The complete down pour during their entire set had absolutely no effect on the band or the crowd. Including myself! |
Fuel’s fifth studio album entitled, “Puppet Strings”, was released on March 4th, 2014. Despite many line up changes throughout the years these guys still put on a great show. |
Crobot, the Pennsylvanian quartet is being hailed at the breakout band of 2014. Their music has been described as dirty groove rock. They reminded me of and early 70’s hippie rock band. Crobot emits a passionate stage presence and fans showed their appreciation. |
